Simply Organic Smoked Paprika contains nothing but pure, organic, ground Spanish paprika (Capsicum annuum) slow-smoked with filtered smoke from real oak wood. No GMOs. No ETO (considered carcinogenic by the EPA). Not irradiated. Certified Organic by QAI. Kosher Certified by KSA. Deep, rich, brick-red color. Enticing aroma. Complex, smoky-sweet flavor with a touch of heat. Serious YUMM. It won us Cook’s Illustrated’s top recommendation over other brands in 2018. In fact, it was their “favorite product in every tasting.” The pods are smoked using oak wood in a slow process which can take 48 to 72 hours to get the appropriate smoke flavor and aroma.
Suggested Uses
Traditionally used in Hungarian dishes, but is wonderful on eggs, soups, grilled veggies and just about any other savory meal. Smoked paprika’s earthy flavor pairs well with egg, bean and potato dishes, as well as roasted and grilled meats.
